I was going to cancel this show, I did, but then had a few drinks, and stupid me called the station and convinced them to allow me to continue on, even though I can barely afford it...but my need to be relevant and heard is just that strong I guess... Look man, most people aren't living mickey mouse type of lives right now, I mean if anything they're living Jerry lives, that mouse from Tom and Jerry.

Always getting chased around by that big bad cat, which represents the challenges of life.
And so I kind of want to do a show, or at least the opening part of show, metaphorically showing what xmas means to most.
I'm not talking all the commercials you see on TV, all the adds hear on the radio about buy this, buy that, and be happy.
No, I'm talking about the forgotten, those who Xmas just seems to walk right over and on top of year after year...it's their
story I want to relay through this 'It's a Zombie Xmas opening'.
Hey boss, I've spotted a zombie approaching from the north side of the compound.

Oh ye, it's been a while since posted on here, but Gen X radio is now on 1150 KKNW am, out of Seattle.
This station is much more powerful than the last, and has a way better sounding streaming channel.
I'm glad I made this move.

Future Gen X monologue
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is kind of a public service announcement, but it's one that's aimed at the transgender community.
One that's probably never ever been done before ever in the history of radio, but one that's being done today on 1150.
In that, in light of last weeks school shooting tragedy, I just want to say this.
If trans, or think you are, or struggling with, please do reach out to the Gen X radio show.
Why?
Because here you'll be loved and embraced 'as is', not as 'I' want you to be or what I think you should be, but no, rather you'll be embraced as is.
If it's attention you seek, then well, come onto the Gen X radio show as a guest, where you'll be allowed to speak, and we'll have a discussion that even you can lead.
Cause unlike other host or shows, I do believe in listening to people.
Here, you won't be spoken about, but rather spoken with....and believe me you there is a big difference.
Personally, I think at the end of the day, all any and everybody really wants is a hug.
Hugs are so underrated, yet so needed.
I remember in the 90's, there used to be like hug campaigns, what happened to that?
Maybe we'll bring it back.
Anyways, I've said my point.
If you're apart of the Trans community, if you're suffering, confused, whatever, you have a home here, a place to be heard.
Not that I'll agree with all your view points, but then again, the purpose of love isn't to always be agreeable, rather the purpose of love is to embrace and comfort even when disagree.
reach out folks, reach out.
I'm also a certified life couch, just as a side note.

Also, would like to give a shout out to Ben, the behind the scenes and top and bottom half of shows producer who always makes sure these shows audio sound superb.
