Seems as of late, religion is crumbling in the West, and giving way to technology and other social and political ideologies.
Today, I don't think to many people, at least in the public square, really care whether being gay is a sin or not, if most everyone's going to hell anyways, whether they're gay or not.
But actually I notice, in real life, as in day to day life, being gay is still stigmitized, but not so much for religious reasons, rather for social ones.
Most people I know who object to sugarsexuality, don't do so on religious grounds, but rather on social grounds, as in 'don't embarass me with that stuff'.
Most people shun sugarsexuality out of not wanted their image damaged.
But it has nothing to do with religion.
And then again it just depends on which social circles you run in.
Most work circles I exist in, the people most and mainly still believe in the male/female relationship.
At least in my age group.
Me, could care the less, life is short, then we all die.
All I care about is respect, respect others and respect the one you're with.

I do get annoyed at the notion some push that everything that happens to you is do to 'gods will'...hogwash, that would make god a pretty small and petty god.
I'm eating popcorn right now, am I doing so do to my own will or gods will?
If someone says I'm doing so do to gods will, than that means I'm god.
Think about that one long and hard.

Sometimes it seems as if I just can't pull away from the devils grip, no matter what. I take 2 steps forward towards healing and feeling whole, then it's like the devil comes along and knocks me back 8 steps. I don't know if the devil really exists or not, but like most, I use that term in more of a metaphorical manner. If Satan or the devil does exist, I'd have to be pretty concieted to think that such a being, out of billions of people on earth, would give a squat about me. There are people far more gifted, brighter, much better social pedigree, sexier, wealthier than I, that the devil would be better off harassing and influencing. I don't know. I do know I'm eating instant microwave oatmeal right now and it feels good sliding down me throat.

My belief in god these days? I don't know.
Most time now, I just feel like all of heaven hell, God/Satan, angels/demons, all only exist inside of my own mind.

If the devil did exist, I think the devil would have been the one to invent social media.

Maybe this is not the right section for this, but the older i get the more I realize people feed off of the flesh more so than God or religion.
It's just that so many who are into religion are around other flesh so much that they can't tell the difference, but when alone, isolated and alienated from others, then you can. It's then that you realize it's really 'the flesh' you depend upon more so than some invisible god entity in your mind that you've convinced loves you for no reason at all.
Older people who end up alone, can have all the god they want, but without love and affection from another person in the flesh, none of it matters. It's why I never see older people, like over 60 and alone, screaming about god and Jesus, like they did in their 20's or 30's or even 40's.
It's the flesh, the energy between flesh, that exchange, that we, flesh feed off of.
Sooner or later, if live long enough, most everyone will realize that.

I realize I am a nobody, until fate decides otherwise, and no amount of energy or effort from my part can change that, is what I'm beginning to recognize and even acknowledge.

Death and religion.
I'm older now and oddly enough I could really care the less about either.
Every now and then, when in certain moods, I do, or can, freak out about the eternal effects of death, but what I don't freak out over anymore is the notion of 'hell', or any after life, which almost makes death seem ever scarier or more morbid.
I've had sensations of dying before, and the scariest part of it is the feeling of utter helplessness as you feel like you're slipping away, that's the scariest part. Well obviously I didn't die, cause I'm still here, but when it does come, I can't imagine when you cannot pull yourself back.
I think those who die suddenly in trauma deaths are the lucky ones, cause they don't have time to think about it.
And I think those who die alone, at night, in bed, or during the day on a chair, while watching tv, have it the worst, cause you're alone and have no one to call out to.
Anyways, what a depressing subject.

Is god only god, while we're alive? But then once dead, simply dead?

biologically, humans no different than rodents, rats, reptiles, fish, aquatic life, vertebrae or any other life form.
We may be created in 'Gods image', but that doesn't mean we have eternal life, no more or less than a fish does.

This idea that you can only truly love another through 'J-sus', seems more like the power of mind suggestion to me, more than anything elseJust heard some old crusy Pastor on the radio rambling about loving others through 'Jesus', but to me, it's simply the power of mind suggestion. It would be like saying you can only love another through your Teddy Bear. And if you convince yourself of that, than so it will be, and you'll find yourself only loving others through the power of your Teddy Bear. Or 'You can only love others through the power of your car, or shoes, or painting on the wall, ect. To me, either you love and value another cause you want to, or you don't. Anything else is just mind suggestive thought, in my opinion.

Odd how the wealthiest people always tell the poorest people not to worry about money
The other day was listening to the widow of a formerly very wealthy 'Christian', financial advisory, tell the radio audience 'To store your treasures in heaven'...huh, what??!!
This woman/widow, is a multi-million precisely because her husband stored his wealth and treasures here on earth. And she continues to be wealthy by continuing to store profits here on earth.
I mean how can you have a financial show, where millionaires call you for advice, and then tell people to store their treasures in heaven?
Makes no sense at all, and shows people, even those who quote scriptures, rarely take that stuff to heart.

Does 'Hell' begin for people before they die?
Does like hell begin for some people weeks, months or even years before they die?, or even decades?
That's not an easy question to answer, it's one of those questions only you can answer or yourself.

That's not an easy question to answer, it's one of those questions only you can answer or yourself. I mean if there is no life after death, than it would only make sense that heaven and or hell could only be carried out against or for one while still alive in the flesh...yes, no?
