General TV/Movie/Cinema thoughts and chatter

I'm not good tonight.
I worked today, and extra tired for some reason...probably cause been working out while at work, and when you get older, I guess you just need more time to recover.

And right now, of all things, on PBS, watching some Hitler historical documentary, and during that time.

And interesting about how many Nazi propagandist borrowed a lot of Americas segregation laws against blacks, and applied it to Jews in their own nation.

In other words, the Nazis, back then, learned a lot from Americas own racist and the Klan...how interesting.

Take Out Girl



Wow, this is a pretty good show that centers around a tough, street level, Asian family.
It's gritty, it's like a Asian version of 'Boys' N' Da Hood', and it's very realistic.
It's a street level side of Asian American life that many in the mainstream don't see, and or even know exists.

I'm watching it on antenna TV, of all places, in other words for free.

More and more I find myself rooting for these criminal masterminds in these older action movies.

This movie 'Escape from New York', really does need to be revisited again



For some reason, this movie still seems solid to me.
Ye, it may seem a bit korney, but it's really not.
I mean compared to some of today's movies, this movie holds up pretty well.

And, I could see it coming true.

Europa Report



This is one of those movies where I had to first see then ending of it, before then curious enough to go back and watch it again, or at least watch all the parts I fast forwarded through.

Once you put it all together, it will stoke your interest.

Amazon and Disney just ruin otherwise good franchises

Sorry, but even I, as a person of color, when watching like the 'Lord of the Rings or 'Rings of power', sorry, but I don't want to see some black character force injected into a role that historically they would not be in.

As a person of color, I understand when watching cinema from Norther Europe, I understand there's not going to be African American looking black folks playing hobbits, or elves, ect....even black people know this, heck, even Asians and Hispanics know this....yet liberal white 'woke' casting directors do not.

Sorry, but when watching Lord of the Rings, I want to see white hobbits and elves, and wizards and ect, I just want to relax and watch a good movie without feeling like I'm being preached to by movie about equity and all that liberal BS stuff that ruins movies.

And disney does the same with Star Wars.

Amazon and Disney are good at ruining older series, cause they bring all that 'woke' stuff to it.

Did the Twilight Zone TV show utilize crossdressing males to play women?

This is going to sound strange, but I'm watching a episode of the TZ titled 'In his image', and I could swear up and down, the lady playing this one characters fiancé is or was a man.

And to me, the dead giveaway is the CHIN.



I mean look at the chin, and also look how they're sitting in the car, women don't sit that way, that's how men sit and lay back against seats.

And this is not the first episode where I've suspected men playing the roles of women.
Am I on to something here that no one else has ever noticed before?
