American History, the good, the bad and the ugly
No matter how history is presented, one side or the other will claim 'bias' by the presenter or production team.
So you just have to take it all in, be honest with your own set of values or biases, and decide on your own, cause nothing is 'pure', there is no 'pure' way of telling history that won't make one side or the other not feel slated.
But this presentation about Confederate monuments, and how many were erected out of pure hate and intimidation for 'non whites', and or to remind non whites of 'white supremacy'.
Again, you have to decide for yourself their meaning, and no to people will come to the same conclusion.

Why does 'B' history always have to be about negative events of the past?
It just seems, those who write up black history curriculums, always seem to only and mainly focus on the usual negative occurrences of the past.
Like Emmit Till, the civil rights era, slavery, you know, the usual.
Why not focus on non controversial history for a change?, like musicians, actors, scientists, black pilots, black cowboys, first black Ambassador, and so force.
Why must black history always be mired in controversy and sadness?
