Now that you're older, I'm older now what? OK, fine, things didn't turn out right, not a billionaire living in Mansion...fine, all that aside 'now what?' And not some 'Clark Howard' invest your money type either, so now what? Going forward now what? 1. Land? 2. RV as in mobility As age without retirement wealth which is more important, mobility or anchored owned place as in land? If own land, and if land not paid for, than still must work If are mobile, say own RV that's paid for, like a used RV, than means can go to where the work is, and since already have mobile house, means can keep like 90% of income. Which is more important?, more strategic? Older doesn't mean useless, I mean if have to work, would it not be better to work and be able to keep up to 90% of income by living out of RV??? See what I'm saying...if live out of RV, and erning say $4000.00 month, than can keep most of that income, but if earning $4000 a month and living in apartment or house with payments, either rental house or mortgage house, than about half that income goes towards fixed living expenses. Which is the better option as age? _____________________________________________ If have RV, and still able to work and function, can follow job market, if blue collor, can go work where oil production happening, although under Biden/Harris, who knows...but you get my drift. If own mobile house, can go be some janitor somewhere, work for pennies, and still be comfortable...yes, no? You own a used RV and like you can go to any ole small town and work for nearly nothing, cause already have place to live in and not slave to local Rent costs or local Real Estate costs...yes, no? Growing older can be a challenge if not filthy rich, we'll explore this more in this section...so stay tuned in and share and or 'add' own comment if polite and clean and not a 'bot.

I hope I don't panic, and dump or waste money in some 'mid life crisis' moment Mid life crisis is a time when many waste a ton of money on 'nothing' just to prove to themeselves they still 'got it'. And mainly if say working class, that money usually and always wasted on a new vehicle, to prove to self and others that 'Hey look at me, I'm still hip'. No ones immune to this impulse, not even 'me'. Cause lately I've been looking at newer vehicles, or brand new vehicles, as in sports cars, and that's a bad sign, and what I call a 'money dump'. I mean if I go nowhere now, have no friends now, not sure how having a nice new hot rod type vehicle will change that, sure I'll be 'more cool' in my own mind, but other than that what would it really change about my current reality?...nothing. Only now I'd have payments again, or could pay cash for decent used late model sports car I suppose, but still it's a money dump done out of panic, or the need to validate self. A better way to 'money dump' would be in the markets, as in joining a brokerage firm and allowing them to leverage your money and grow it, but that's not as 'sexy' as just buying a new car. Cause no one sees your 'money growing' in the stock market, but eyes, people, do see you driving up and down road in new sports car, and neighbors notice, and maybe just enough to get that shy person to open up to you? I don't know. The best things to spend our money on often just aren't very sexy at all, is the bottom line. Good luck with your midlife crisis.

Now considering getting a boat...do I really need a boat? Do I really need a boat?...what would I do with a boat?...have parties on them?... I mean what's the fun of being on a boat if not drunk or drinking?...cause I'm not the fisherman type of person...killing fish just not my thing...but drinking some fine wine while on boat probably is. This guy here is selling a similar type boat on Craigslist... jacksonville.craigslist.org/boa/d/orlando-2002-tracker-targa-v185-with/7271271754.html For like 8 gran in Orlando, FL. I could buy that boat if I wanted to, but again, do I really need a boat? Can one make money off of a boat? I'd maybe do like tours, like tourist tours?...yes, that's an idea, or maybe start a water taxi or like Friday, or Saturday or whatever party cruise?... hmm..

For real though, where I stay, there's a lot of water, but don't really see to many people earning money from their boats, lots and lots of water, like Tampa Bay or Jax, Fl or Seattle or any other city by the bay, but you don't really see a lot of boat taxis or boat tours...not sure why, maybe I could change that if I get a boat..yes, no?

After a while working just seems pointless to me, I just feel like taking 6 months to a whole year off, just living off of savings...I mean this idea that must work work work, for what?
Never going to get rich..and to me peace of mind and health is 'richness'...and if anything work jepordizes that.
I just may take 3-4 months off soon and do absolutly nothing.

The realities of growing older is unless you're wealthy, the older you get the less valuable you become to others.

I feel kind of lost right now, and not sure what to do going forward in life. I always seem to make the wrong decisions, but a lot of people do, I think if you make bad decisions with no caring people or person to catch you, that's what makes the difference.
There are plenty of people who make bad decision all throughout life, but they never really fall, cause they're love, or lusted after, and thus always carried by others.

Ye, look at Hunter Biden, Joe Biden's son, look at all the bad decisions they've made over the years, yet they're still on top of the world cause his Father was a Senator, then VP and now President.
So ye, we all make bad decisions, but whether or not we suffer from those decisions just depends on a lot of different factors.

Things guys/males could do in the 70's, that if they did today, many would consider them to be gay
A fun video that shows a few things guy/males, could do in the 70's that if they did today, they'd be considered gay, or at least by close minded types.
Watch the video and see/learn, how subjective cultural changes are and cultural roles. Nothing is in stone.

This continues to be a struggle with me, as I almost financed a used, powerfully strong Dodge Challenger the other week, but the payments made me pause.
You pay now, more for a used car, than a brand new car, just 7 years ago...crazy

I feel like Vivarium, the movie, will have been my life, only as a single captive, rather than a couple, as in the movie
This circular death trap of a movie, kind of feels like my own life at times.

In my own prison Yep, I'm in my own type of prison. But all prisons begin within own mind, our own minds, that's where the real prison is. I so want things to change, but I just don't know how to bring about that change, well I do, but I lack the energy and drive to do so without love in my life. Everyone needs to feel, be, and or have another one to love, up and until the day they die, in order to feel whole. A lot of us just don't have that though, yet trudge on anyways. But the older you get, the less and less things you have to string you along, to motivate you, ect. Usually that's what having kids, or grandkids do, is they inspire you as you age, and start looking back, as your own life fades, but if have no kids of your own, growing old, older, can be a really empty place. And then if you don't already own your home, and still have to pay rent into old age, then what? Then the f what?...homelessness? Is that the new norm for many, as the wealthy keep increasing the prices on everything. I don't even wanna think about it, cause I, for the first time in my adult life, I have no answers right now, just concern. Oh well.
