This may sound weird, but the older I get, the less interest I have in living to be really really old?
Seems like torture to me, unless very loved and wealthy, and have means to hire help to take care of you.
I mean think if Joe Biden, the current president, was poor and alone.
Do you think he'd get the care he has now?
Well most people are poor, get old, and once can't physically walk or go blind, or etc, then what?
Can't work to pay rent anymore, then what?
Is why the ranks of the homeless keep growing.
I'm older, but not old old, but even at my age, eyes aren't as good as they use to be, and get odd joint pain at times...if feeling this way now, what about 5 years from now, or 10, and can't work, then what?
Is why my ____ is my escape clause, like the title of that one Twilight Zone episode.
