A son's love for their mother
A son's love for their mother, will make them fly 3000 miles just to help in a simple task.
But when older, without help, even simple tasks can seem like mountains.

House vs RV, for those over the age of 50
House vs RV, for those over the age of 50?
I mean to me, if house already paid for, than of course, chose the house, but what if don't have a livable paid for house, and so still have to pay rent or large mortgage on a house, after the age of 50, then what?
I mean to me, once over the age of 50, rent, mortgage, car payments, all that is not syphoning away from your ability to ever retire, it's using up your retirement money.
As such, to me, it makes sense to then probably think about the cheapest, less expensive way to live, without becoming homeless, and that's where paid for land, and a decent used RV come into play.
I mean I lived in a RV years ago, and the space was just fine, in fact, the place I live in now, I basically only dwell in one room, the rest of the place pretty much goes unused, so ye, I could see myself living in a RV again, on land that's paid for, and of course zoned for such.
I'm a single guy, and I'm not into urban or city women, to me, women like that are about useless when it comes to living a practical life.
So ye, as a single male, gen x male, I could very well see myself buying some very cheap land, and parking a RV on it, and maybe creating 2-4 other RV pads on the place for vacationers and or friends, and or relatives, should any of them ever wise up...lol.
The main thing is that the land would have to be paid for, and would have to be from 4-20 acres..
Cause I just know this, going forward, I don't want to be no ones labor slave, not even.
And you can find a job just about anywhere, if not picky, and if don't have rent or a large mortgage to pay, than heck, I can get any ole driving job, part-time that is, or warehouse job or even resturant, or general labor...or create my own business...I mean if you have land, you can create a business where people park their vehicles, or become a animal sitter, ect...with land, the possibilities are endless, grow and sell produce, or have chickens and sell the eggs.
Anyways, gonna keep this short...for those reading this on this forum blog, I'll probably also turn this into a podcast and or video...gotta run.

Headed to RV center while cruising through 'Da Hood' area
Million dollar RV center located right smack dab in da middle of da hood, wow.
Probably cause near the interstate, I-95, where tourist can see the center while driving from the freeway.

Just take care of yourself Not bad, for over 50. Gen X, for sure. I did, however, use Ribbit photo editor to kind of add some tone and depth and color to the image. My only real weakness is that I drink, if I could kick that habit, who knows how much better I'd look to myself.

I've wasted a ton of time on two thing in the past
1. Drinking
2. The internet/social media
And now I'm trying to steer clear of both, the best I can.
I've got internet burnout, for real.
And social media...gag...so sick of the control games.
Social media has turned into the most bias medium out there.
At first, everyone given a fair share of views...but then the silicon valley snakes weaved their way in and started playing favorites, and after that social media has never been the same.
Most of those who post have been reduced to nothing more than babbling conservatives, one line conservatives, with no follow up, nothing...one and done comments.
And you read those comments while all your info being harvested by 3rd and 4th and 5th and 10 party 'partners'....
Sell your soul and privacy just to see yourself type a comment online...no thanks.
At least here it's quiet.

I went to the VA hospital or whatever it's called today, in Jacksonville, FL.
I was surprised how clean and orderly and empty the main lobby's were. I got there near closing, so tomorrow they'll call me, finish getting some info, and assign me a primary care doctor. I told them i never go to the doctor...is why I'm in as good of health I'm in...lol...that's not scientific. Just seems the minute you start going to a doctor is the minute you find out all sorts of things are wrong with you, is the minute they want to give you this and that medication, is the minute you get more sick. What do I need a doctor for?? When time for me to die, I will die, why go broke while dying? Look, all I want a primary doctor for is so I can get some Viagra, or a spin off of...OK...

Getting in 'real shape' takes longer than most think, especially when older.
Real life not like TV, no duh, but just saying it takes more than a few weeks, or even a month, to reverse years and years of bad habits, or drinking or diet.
The body doesn't just morph into a sculpted, cardio optimum lean machine after a few workouts...nope.
I mean even athletes train for months, years, getting their bodies right before a tournament.
I was fooling myself for sure, thinking I could continue to drink, workout now and then, and remain in good shape, to include healthy organs, heart, eyes, liver, kidney's and more...I was fooling myself, but not anymore.
I workout daily now, mainly bike ride and fast walk, both together, and stretch, and I'm seeing, feeling the differenct, especially in energy level.
But again, joint wear, not sure how to instanty fix that, things just wear out, it's apart of age.
Is why for the first time, I finally got a primary doctor at the VA, and will start going to one soon...but mainly cause I want some Viagra...LOL...oh ye, why not.

The older you get, the odder sex kind of seems.
You watch adult tube video and are like 'what's all the fuss abput?'
But that's called lust, and we've all been there, but when older and that constant lust begins to fade, watching others have sex just seems odd at times, even foreign.
So I guess enjoy your sexual prime while it's there for you to enjoy for when it's gone or fades, you'll begin to look at things, and evaluate people differently.

I have a doctors appt in Aug, 2 actually, with the VA.
The only reason why I scheduled to get a primary care doctor is so that I can then have them subscribe me some Viagra or a similuar item.
I always here guys say the just get it online, but even on line you have to be prescribed to it...and if not, I certainly don't know how to get around that.
And not sure if I want to buy something online from a unofficial source, cause today, no telling what they might slip in your pills.

I feel like I'm basically doomed.
Doomed can mean different things to different people.
To me, at this stage of my life, being doomed is that day I finally realize and recognize that none of my aspirations or dreams will come true...and that all that blabbering 'We all have a purpose' stuff, just never applied to me.
I have no purpose, other than the money I spend.
I matter to no one, haven't for decades.
I'm just here, fooling myself, convincing myself that there's more, that I was meant for more..yeah, OK.
Also, being alone will give you a different perspective about others, yourself, God, nation, society and more, that when always with someone or romantically paired, you don't get.
Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather be in a healthy relationship with another, paired, and not know what I know now, than to know what I know now and be alone.

And that aside, truth is, is that if I haven't gotten it right by now, I never will...that's the fact Jack.
But of course, I can't allow myself to feel that way or I'd emotionally crumble, crack, so like most, I continue to feed myself a hopeful dream, just as a way of keeping my moral up.

Also though, I don't like his politics, he's gone Howard Stern, flipped, that means he's owned by the Hollywood deep and powerful elites.
