Is the anti-Christ all that bad when compared to other world leaders we've had throughout Earth's history?
After viewing this depiction of 'god' and the 'devil', I'm beginning both are kind of nutty and weird, but of course this painting is how another interprits the two in some kind of dueling cosmic relationship.
To be honest, I don't like the painting, especially how the painter makes 'Jesus' seem all saucy, soft and afraid.
I think the title of the painting is called 'The Islamic anti Christ', whatever that means.
But back to original question...Is the anti Christ character really that bad when compared to other brutal rulers that have killed millions in the past and still doing so in the presence.
How would the anti Christ be any worse than 'Hitler?'...OK, that one was to easy, or any worse than Stalin, Lenin, or the current leader of North Korea?
Or further back in history Nepolean, or Jangis Kung (however spelled).
Or if Native American Indian tribes, how could the threat of the anti Christ be any worse than what the European settlers did to them and or 'you', and your ancestors??
Like the 'Trail of Tears', when all Native Americans rounded up, as in Seminoles, Cherokee's and more, from the South, and sent packing to desert land in the midwest and south East...was this not a 'anti-Christ' or 'pro hate and bigotry' type of move by the early U.S. Government and those in it at the time?
They cleared you, native Americans, from your land so that racist, pro slavery, brutal European settlers could take your place?
Millions of Indians killed, many tribes wiped off the face of the Earth, Not by the Anti-Christ, but rather by European settlers who probably assumed they were obeying 'Christ'.
So just saying, in light of that and other atrocities committed by Governments and people throughout Earth's history, who is the anti-Christ again?, and why should I, we, others, fear him or it?
Racism pushed, preached, for years from the church pulpits of America...'In the name of Jesus you're the 'n' word, was the standard practice for centuries in north America, and still is, just now that sentiment is expressed more silently.
So with all that being said, again, not sure why I should fear the supposed 'anti Christ'...when in reality, it's man history tells me I should fear, and the brutality done in the name of Jesus, not in the name of Satan.
This discussion will continue as time allows.
