The Selling (comedy/horror)
Now I don't usually do comedy horror combos, cause comedy is hard, and horror is hard, and so to combine both together you really need a special team of actors, producers, talent, writers ect.
But this one here seems worth a watch, and you have to like the performers, that's key, and the lead performer here seems very likable, skinny, kind of cure nerdy dude.
Check out the preview and if like watch the whole thing...I know I eventually will.

Wilderness - 2006
This one here is worth a watch, it started off a bit iffy, but now starting to pick up and better yet it keeps you guessing on who the villain is.
I like scary movies that I cannot predict.
It's worth a watch if you like horror/thriller type of cinema.

The thing in the mist
Some of these YouTube movies can only be viewed on Youtube, but that aside, I actually woke up at about 25% into this movie, the action scenes woke me up...and at first thought just another cheezy sci-fi horror flick, but actually there's a lot of symbolism in this movie..
Think Aliens meets the Jehovah's Witnesses meets 'The Fog', there's like a few underlying themes going on in this movie with an even more surprising ending, and the special effects aren't to bad either. It's a decent watch if bored and nothing else to do.

The thing on the doorsteps
Probably on of the most dull boring supposedly scary movies I've ever watched, and it's not even scary but plays out more like that 'Mystery theater' that use to air on PBS television.
The setting is average middle class people living in a average dull middle class town somewhere, and of course throw a 'Witch' in the plot and that's what keeps you viewing, cause whenever a plot involves a 'witch', you know things are going to get interesting eventually.
I made it about half way through, and posting it here so that in the future, I can finish watching it.
But, it's all about 'taste' and some of you who view this movie may actually like it, it may be your cup of tea.

Movie dynamics have just changed so much over the last decade, so hard to find 'blockbuster' type movies anymore that we're made to anticipate with blockbuster actors like Will Smith or Tom Cruise ect.
With Netflix and Amazon and Hulu and all the other streaming channels, it's all so diluted now, that's where actors go to get paid now, but unless have access to those movie channels won't be able to see what's new and 'fresh' in the streaming theater realm.
You Tube does a good job as supplying its own 'free' movies, If it's free, I can't complain, but the free movies on YouTube are like 'B' movies with unknown actors in them.
A movie has to be extra good, in order to work without any star power in it, so a lot of these movies, most, are hit and miss movies, and not sure how they even make their money back, unless through Government grant money in that film schools produce many movies, and many schools funded by the Government.
I just know it's getting harder and harder to find 'That movie', that one movie that will stand out to you for years, decades even, they're just harder to come by now, just like with music...there's really no song made within last 10 years that stands out to me, maybe cause I'm getting older and so my relations with music is different now, maybe it's just like that with every generation.
Sometimes I just watch movies to not feel so lonely, just to hear other people dialogue about anything.

Daylight's End
(even though this movie has 'kids' in it, it's age restricted, go figure..
Here's the trailer to the movie.
Decent movie, characters do some dumb things though, but I suppose that's what makes suspense. This movie kind of like another version of 'I am Legend', only there's more who are alive and held up.
So many of these movies I just stumble upon and never see the previews before they're released, I mean seeing as I don't really watch TV anymore it's hard for me to keep up on decent movies.
I call this one more 'Adventure horror' or 'Science fiction horror'.

Decent -2006-2007 I know I'm a bit late watching this movie, seeing as it was released way back in 2007 or so, but tonight just now getting around to watching it on Amazon video, and for some reason I just avoided this movie for years, I guess cause in the previews it just seemed cheazy to me, like some 'B' monster movie. I basically thought it's would be some Rambo guys, Rambo type cave explorers who go deep into the Earth, meet some lizard like creature, and then the rest seemed so predictable to me. Well there is a cave in this movie, and there are 'creatures', but from there it does kind of deviate from the 'norm', in that it's pretty much a all female cast...I never knew that until now. Also this film takes you back 15 years or so, when 'blockbuster' movies were still being released in the theaters and you can feel the quality difference, you just can, compared to todays unknown studios releasing movies on YT just about weekly where you no longer recognize the actors and actresses, it's like todays movie stars are simply the film students casting themselves and classmates into the movie cause they can't afford to pay high dollar stars...and there's nothing wrong with that, gotta start somewhere and oh how I wish I could be in a movie, afford film school, but I cannot...so like most I watch others who can. Anyways, this is a decent movie if you want more than typical He-man horror adventure, there's many twists to this movie that does keep in interesting....I'm only about 75% through it, and only found early on, one section where I just fast forwarded it, but now to point in movie where don't want to miss any of the scenes, and that's credit to the movie. It's all about 'timing', so maybe had I watched it early, well actually I did'nt, so maybe I'm meant to watch it now for whatever reason.

The Good Neighbor
Might want to check this one out, which seems to have slipped through the cracks of decent movies to watch, I saw it a few years ago on 'Netflix' and just remember how interesting it was, mainly do to the characters.
Not really horror though, more more suspense/drama meets two young goofy college aged geeks.
A decent movie though.

Will be honest here, most of these movies so the same, in that always position a or 'the' white woman as being center of affection and or center of sympathy, and I just get sick of that same old theme over and over again. which tells me most of these movies written by and directed by 'white males'....who's 'lust' is so gdm predicatabl and makes movie a bore to watch.
The key to finding a good horror movies is finding one that doesn't center around 'white mans lust'...good luck on that, but if find one will post it on here.

Walk Away
Not done watching this one yet, but it's, it's, for sure different.
And because not done watching, not sure whether it's horror, or scary? or Horror mystery or scary mystery?
Either way, it has a plot that I've not seen so far in any movie, other than maybe 'ground hog day'...but with a different twist to it.
I'm watching it on Amazon, and so far it has kept my interest, will come back later when done watching and give full review of the movie.

Bad Ben - The way in (sequel to the first)
This is like the sequel to 'Bad Ben', which is currently on Amazon Prime movies, but so is this one and I think it's also on YT, the full movie that is.
This will give you some scares, for sure, even though the main character is a paranormal dunce, they remind me of Elmer Fud looking for the rabbit or something, and the ghosts or spirits are like bugs bunny.
The same guy is in both movies, he's the only human that appears, but for some reason it works, far less distractions that way.
And seeing him walk around that large empty house, kind of reminds me of my own life at times, just forever wondering and talking to self and entertaining self, but at least this guy, in the movie, is making money off of his super square life.
Kind of makes me want to come up with my own low budget movie, maybe center it around a grave yard.

And this guy has no problem sleeping in a bedroom and on a bed where the supposed prior family were all 'laid to rest', I could never do that, no way, if had to sleep in a haunted house as a ghost hunter I'd bring my own portable fold up cot.

Quarantine 2, the Terminal
I'm really late to this Quarantine party, I haven't even seen the first one yet, but here to say the 2nd one is for sure worth a watch.
It deals in the infected side of the Zombie genre, and does a wonderful job.
There really is no cheesy moments or characters you don't like, at least to me.
Not sure which came first, this movie or 28 days later, but the infected in this movie equally as horrifying.
I really need a PC with a DVD drive in it so I can screen capture cool moments and scenes.
I watched it on Amazon Prime movies channel, but also heard if you order the movie through them, reviewers said that the DVD you order isn't formatted for American made computers, so you'd might not want to order it from Amazon, but Maybe Walmart instead or wherever you get your DVD, if you even go that route.
