Para activity 4 Resisted watching this one for years, cause I didn't like the cover. I felt the original trailer cover was simply promoting 'whiteness' over the storyline. I mean come on, a blonde haired babe on the bed in seductive pose...are you kidding me, I mean who was that aimed at? It just seemed like a cheap way to get people to watch the movie, mainly younger males in the prime of their lust, and sorry, but that just turned me off, and let me know the mindset of the producers of this movie before I even watched it. I was very much into para 1-3, but this one, I hesitated to watch until now, and even now not all the way done yet. And it's kind of what I expected it to be, a paranormal movie basically promoting 'whiteness' with the ghost or haunted story being the backdrop. One thing 'W' movie directors, casting directors love, and that is white women and youth, cause those are the two types of people they have control over, or feel they do, and this movie is filled to the rim with both. I think this movie created more for teenage boys, than a more mature adult audience, with all the pictures of 'feet' ect. If not 'white', and not living that middle class dream or lifestyle, you may find yourself feeling alienated from the characters and or the general environment. --------------------------------- Is the movie scary? It can be at times, if don't over think it as I am. It's not a bad movie, just saying it's a 'white' movie... And only a few will get what I mean by that, cause the first 3 in the series were not 'white movies', this one however is. That aside, because only half way through, can't honestly rate it yet.

Ye, this movie drags on to long, to many scenes of just 'W' folks walking around the inside of the house being 'W'. just meaningless scene after meaningless scene 'Oh look at my hair', 'Oh, look at my pretty white feet and toes'...'Oh, look at my legs, see how gorgious I am'...and on and on and on....enough already.

Paranormal Activity 4, final thoughts on the movie
I did finish watching the movie, really to me the final 30-20 minutes was all that was necessary. movies just tend to be filled up with to many useless scenes, scenes designed to, I guess, highlight acting skills?, or modeling skills? And these scenes really add nothing to the ambience of the movies theme.
-------------------------------
But ye, the final 20-30 minutes of this film was when it got hot, and when the really darkness began to come out, but why torture people for the previous hour of basically nothingness, of basically just watching a middle-class family maneuver inside their large home.
'Oh look at my feet, oh, look how pretty my hair is'...and so forth. OK, you have pretty feet and hair, now can we get on with the scary part of the movie, I kept saying to self while watching.
All and all though, not a bad movie, not a bad scary movie, most will probably like it is my guess.

I'm really enjoying this 'Saw 3' movie
This movie is better than I thought it would be. Ye, I know, it's pretty old now, but I'm still enjoying it. The writing and story line is better than I thought it would be. And Danny Glover is even in this one.

Walk Away
This is one odd scary/horror/slasher movie.
One day, if enough people watch it, it should become a cult classic.

Zombie Warz
This is one odd movie, which still watching, which combines human nature to be racist, with a zombie apacolypts. The opening scene is pretty racially ugly, but side from bad acting, probably a realistic portrayal of how it will be in this nation should law and order break down.
Many armed racist groups out there just waiting, drooling, over the chance to take over and run nation the way they see fit, and this zombie movie kind of touches on that theme or sentiment.
I'm surprised Amazone even allowed it to air on their station.
But seems as long as something done in the name of 'art and theater', anything is allowed.
That aside, It's a decent original zombie movie.
Only about 1/4 through it though.

Terminator Genisys
Decent movie, some weird reconfiguration of the terminator. The effects run the movie more than the characters though.
That aside, not sure anymore if suppose to root for 'man' to win or for the machines to win. I mean just look at the world today, and or in the past.
China, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, the Taliban, ISIS, drug cartels, gangs in America, corruption inside the U.S. Government and more.
Am I really still suppose to root for man to win?
Not sure anymore.

Also, in these movies, the cops, the fire department, even the military, they always seem to be asleep as the good guys and bad guys blow up the city streets with wild car chases, bombs, explosions, but like seems never any cops around.

Maggie?, wow, had no idea Arnold S had a zombie movie out I have no review yet, cause just discovered this 7 year old movie on Amazon. A dumb slow moving movie, feels outdated. Basically a white woman worship type of movie, where audience led, told, that white women have more value than other women, and that for no reason we should care about this female character other than the fact that they're white. It's a weak movie. Even the musical scores, the music that plays in the background, seems antiquated, sluggish, old and very 'studio' and predictable. It's as if Arnold did this movie just out of old age boredom.

Event Horizon - 1997
This is really a underated movie, and still holds it's weight all these years later. I just watched on Amazon, and I even think they've gone back and digitally mastered a lot of the scenes in the movie cause it looks even better now than I remember it from years ago.
It's like a space horror movie, but it really works well. Very good acting, Lawrance Fishorn or burn is in it, from the Matrix, and other good actors and actresses.
It's a straight up horror movie though, if watch alone at night, it will scare you a bit.

One thing I don't get about the movie 'Hell Raiser 2', is if already dead and in hell, how can you still die?In Hell raiser two, if they're already in hell, than how come even when in a fleshly hell, they, the villains, are still able to die? If they can still die, than it's not really eternal hell, but maybe purgatory. In the movie, all these minabites, or whatever they're called, they all die, so that means they're not really in hell or in charge of it, cause if really dead, according to spiritual logic, than that would mean they can't die again. So obviously they're in some kind of purgatory realm.

Deadware
To me, this movie kind of has a 'Bad Ben' feel to it. I did, however, pretty much skip through the first 20 minutes of movie, there was just to much meaningless dialogue. Many of these scary movies could really be condensed by about 50%, make them shorter and the movie would be better, would force the writers to get to the point quicker.

Unknown Visitor
This one here will give you some scares. But the best thing about it is that it doesn't just drag on and on and on.
I've been saying this for years, the best horror movies are short ones.
The mistake many directors make or producers, writers, ect, is when they add useless dialogue to horror movies, or any movie as far as that goes, but particularly with horror movies.
I think this one here is under an hour, therefore every scene really does matter.

I need a good ole scary movie right now, to just take me away from my own thoughts for a while. It's just now days, it can take forever finding a movie worth watching for more than 5 minutes.
