The body is like a instrument that needs fine tuning in order to sound or play correctly The body is like a instrument that needs fine tuning in order to play or sound right, and this grows more true as you, we, age.
And all things effect the 'sound' of us, the human instrument, from environment, from what we allow into our minds, (which effects our thoughts, thus mood), from the food we eat, from our jobs, to relationships or lack of in our lives, to amount of sleep we get and more.
The older you get the more you become more aware of the fine tuning your body needs if plan on staying healthyWhen younger it seems or seemed, 'junk in, junk out', but as you age it's like 'Junk in, stays in and messes up your 'tune'.
In order to stay healthy as you age you have to start listening to your body, you must!
Even if it means changing jobs, or changing job schedule, working less (depending on nature of job).
Is why you don't see to many older people working physically demanding blue collar jobs, you just don't.
You don't see to many people over 40 working as roofers, or slinging sheet rock, or working as farm labor, you just don't see to many old blue collar guys around, either they died, are sick and dying or dead already.
You do see older 'white collar' men though, those into management or Wall street, or investor types cause the nature of their jobs don't tear apart their body or health.
Well I'm blue collar, so if want longevity of health and life, I've had to make some life changing adjustments for sure, the main on being working less, and sometimes that means not being afraid to quit a job if job won't comply with your own needs.
There's no point in me working 5-6 days a week for 10 years if in the 11th year I drop dead from a heart attack. I'd rather figure out a way to work 3-4 days a week, get 3-4 days off in a row, earn less, but be happier and instead of dropping dead after 10 years, live on for 20 while in good health and enjoying life.
Many have been brainwashed by 'the system' to feel it's their duty or obligation to just work hard, just to work hard (Especially males).
That mentality is what has led so many males to an early grave, while women usually live on into much older age.
Well, I'm not falling into that trap, I have no reason to, since it's just me I'm working for.
I mean if haven't earned enough to retire by age 50, than what's the point?
Cause if a male and 50 and above, you had better adjust how you work, or won't make it to 52.
Look how many males just drop dead from 45-50, it's staggering, look at all the celebrity men and even females that never even made it that far.
And I'll be honest, would rather be homeless and live in a tent, yet 100% healthy, than to be suffering with brochatus, azsma, heart disease, liver disease, that disease, and be working, then retire do to poor health and dead in 6 months after leaving job.....not having it.

To me, one has to be pretty dense to wait for a 'expert' to tell you what's best for your health or life.
I guess many in society just trained to wait around for a 'expert' to guide them, screw a expert, is how I see it, you're own body is an 'expert' if you'd just listen to it.
And a lot of us are driven by things we 'think we need or must have'.
Once you realize there's a lot of things you don't need and can live without is when you begin to take back control of your life and work schedule and type of job you chose to work, regardless of income.
The less 'stuff' you're a slave to, the more options open up to you in life, especially as you age.
My health matters to me big time now, and any job that doesn't realize that, good-by, why can I say 'good-by' to any job right now??
Cause I save my money and have cut back on expenses big time, that's why and how I have leverage.
If always broke and living check to check, I'd have no leverage and would be a labor slave.

Yes, I need a income like everyone else, but going forward I want a job that's going to allow me to prosper, not just while on the job, but while away from job as well.
And to me prospering doesn't just mean a large check every week.
To me prospering means having enough time while away from job to engage in activity that caters to my interests in life, or hobbies, or relationship building, writing, art, whatever.

Big industry could give a F about your health, your 'tastes', any unique identifiers about you, that make you special, big industry, once you clock in could give a dam about any of it, for once you clock in you're just a 'statistic', a number; measured by your level of productivity, and when you clock out, you may as well be dead to them, until you clock back in again.

I've done experiments on my own life, everyone is their own experimental lab if you think about it.
I've done the work work work thing, and I've done the 'work as little as possible thing', and I've seen the different results...which vary depending on which phase of life you're in and your age.
Work work work work work, is fine, when younger, and still trying to obtain 'stuff', stuff you think you need, or in love, or starting a family ect...you're younger and have the energy for that, the mindset for it cause you're in building stage of life.
But when older one cannot sustain that...even look at musicians or rappers, think about it.
Ozzy Ozbourne can't do now, in his 70's???, what he did in his 20's, he'd die on stage if tried to.
But what he did in his 20's and 30's, now, oddly enough, sustains him in his 70's.
His 20's and 30's, or youth, is still feeding him even in his 70's.
The music he produced while young and crazed, crowned him 'Lord of Heavy Metal', and that crown still sustains him today, feeds him.
Same with Mike Tyson, same with Snoop dogg and on and on.
Well in the regular working class world, you build you nest while in your 20's, 30's, cause eventually you have to slow down, your body slows down, you change.
But the bills keep coming in...same with athletes.
You have to slow down and change if want to reach the age of 50, and if plan on living much past that, you have to slow down and change, adjust your life..and if in the blue collar labor world, even more so.
Like Michael Jordan, in the whaneing years of your career you have to go from dunking the ball to 3 point shots in order to still be relevant as a player.
I'm not taking those 3 point shots at the perimeter in order to stay in the game.
